Council of Scientific & Industrial Research is organizing CSIR UGC NET 2015 for inviting suitable and eligible candidates for filling up the position of JRF/ Lectureship posts in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology. Interested and willing aspirants may appear for the exam which is going to be held in the month of June by sending an Application Form on or before the last date.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

General and OBC category candidates who wish to apply must possess BS-4 year’s program/BE/B.Tech/B.Pharma/ MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks.

For JRF (NET):Upper age limit of the aspirants must be 28 years as on 01-01-2015 and relaxation in age is provided to all reserved category contenders.

For LS (NET): There is no upper age limit for the aspirants who are applying for lectureship post.

Examination fee:

Aspirants have to first download the Bank challan Performa from the official website and deposit their application fee in any branch of the Indian Bank throughout the country. Srinagar and Imphal contenders may deposit their fees through RTGS or NEFT by giving the required particulars as notified in the fee deposit challan.

Selection Process:

Selection of the applicants will be made on the basis of marks they obtained in the written test.

How to prepare for written exam

Exam Scheme:

The paper will be consisted of 200 marks and there will be negative marking for each wrong answer.
