Whether you are 12th pass or graduate or any other professional degree, Airforce has an exciting career opportunities for you. Indian Air Force (IAF) offers you three different branches through which you can join IAF, these branches are
- Ground Duty
This is the branch where all sorts of pilots are selected and trained. By joining the flying branch, as a flying officer you can touch the Sky with Glory. There are various career option for you to join the elite class by becoming IAF Pilot.
This branch ensures appropriate functioning of complicated aircraft and weapon systems. Technical Graduates such as B.Tech or B.E can join the IAF by entering in Aeronautical Engineering Branch. IAF offers two Aeronautical Engineering courses one is for Electronics and another is for Mechanical.
Ground Duty Branch
The flight of an aircraft is result of Men and Machines working on Ground, you can join IAF as a Ground Duty Officer in which you have to manage men and material. IAF offers various branches in Ground Duty such as

Career in Airforce after 12th/ Engineering Graduation/ MBA
If you have 12th pass with physics and maths and want to join Indian Airforce, then you have to clear the NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam, which is a point of entrance. NDA is the door through which you should enter. If you missed the first opportunity (NDA Exam) then after graduation there is CDSE exam for you to fulfill your dream of becoming a pilot.
If you are engineering graduates there is an exam named AFCAT conducted twice in a year. As a post graduate (men and women), one can join as an officer in the Air force only in the Technical and Ground duty branch.
