PM Modi holds rally in Gaya ahead of Bihar elections

Mr. Narendra Modi who is the PM of India visited Gaya in poll-bound Bihar on Sunday where he has dealt with a rally soon.

9th August is the 73rd Anniversary of the Quit India Movement.

On this day in 1942 Mahatma Gandhi started a mass protest demanding what he called “an orderly British withdrawal” from India. Gandhiji gave a motto of ‘Do or Die’.

A lander will be used as a base to refill batteries and propellants between flights. The flying automatic vehicles related to quad-copters are developed for the thin atmosphere of Mars and the airless voids of asteroids and the Moon.

Singapore is commemorating 50 years since it became an independent state.

Singapore became a republic on 9th August 1965, when it was evicted from the Malaysian confederation following a stormy two-year union.

 (9th August) is International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples.

This day is observed to encourage and protect the rights of the world’s original population.

It was first well-defined by the General Assembly of the United Nations in December 1994, marking the day of the initial meeting of the UN Working Group on Indigenous Populations of the Subcommission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights, in 1982.
